Nokia announcing 16GB X6 without Comes With Music
.Nokia announces hot Nokia X6 will not be offered as a Comes With Music device only.
It seems that Nokia are beginning to concentrate on supplying more affordable alternatives to their high end handsets lately, not long ago we heard news on the Nokia N97 Mini which is a cut down version of the Nokia N97 andNokia N900, now we are hearing that Nokia may release a cheaper version of their upcoming Nokia X6.
As with the Nokia N97 Mini the cheaper X6 with 16 gigabyte will be a somewhat cut-down version of the Nokia X6, it will probably have a smaller storage capacity and will not come with the “Come With Music” service.

Motorola Developing a Google Phone (Google Nexus One)
.Motorola’s CEO has apparently confirmed that the company is working on a Google-branded device, similar to the HTC-made Nexus One. Speaking as part of the company’s quarterly financial results call, chief executive Sanjay Jha revealed that Motorola were indeed developing a “direct to consumer device with Google”.
According to TheStreet.com, the move was revealed in a conference call earlier today with Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha, who said the to-be-named device would be one of 20smartphones the company releases this year. At this point, it’s not clear which carrier, if any, will offer a subsidy on the device.
The move doesn’t come as much of a surprise — when Google debuted the Nexus One with HTC earlier this month, they indicated it wouldn’t be the only phone in which they worked directly with a manufacturer and sold the device direct to consumers via the Web.

Nokia 5800 Firmware Update – Firmware v30.0.011
Nokia 5800 was the first Touch Screen Interface Symbian s60 handset. Nokia 5800 was a failure because it’s not user friendly. The price came down very fast. Now Nokia has launched a new firmware v30.0.11 available as FOTA update.
Yesterday, I updated my Nokia 5800 with the new firmware but I found nothing new. One thing I observed was, the speed and response time of the device is much better now as compared to previous firmware.
How to upgrade?
- Go to Settings
- Select Phone
- Select Phone Management
- Select Device Update
That’s it. Enjoy!
